Carol Stone Honored as Associate of the Year
The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association recently honored Carol Stone as Associate of the Year. Vice President of Residential Construction Lending at Colonial Bank, Stone has a long record of involvement with the Atlanta homebuilding industry. She is active in the Gwinnett Chapter and has served on the HBA Board of Directors during her two terms as Associates Council chair. An active HBA recruiter, she has earned 28.5 SPIKE credits for membership recruitment.
Stone has been instrumental in restructuring and revitalizing the Associates Council. With a focus on providing networking opportunities for associates and educating them on ways to grow their business through involvement in the HBA, she has worked to build a strong council.
Her involvement is also felt at the state level where she is an active participant in the Home Builders Association of Georgia.

What a wonderful achievement and sounds like you are a real go getter.
This has a been a difficult year for real estate and Atlanta we have heard about the water shortages. As your neighbor to the South we understand the water issue here is Florida also. Building homes with drought tolerant plants and local vegatation is a must.
I saw a blog one day how housing developers in Georgia are working to stop run off into waterways that affects the silt in the waterways. What a great project to get developers to take on.
