Heron Bay Golf and Country Club is calling all ghosts, goblins and ghouls to participate in the 10th annual Goblin Gallop. Held on Saturday, October 19, the run will benefit the Hands of Hope Clinic, Henry County’s only free medical and dental clinic.
Registration will be from 7:45 a.m. until 8:45 a.m., with the races beginning at 9 a.m. Runners will have the option to run in a 5K, 10K or one mile walk/run. There will even be a Tot Trot for all of the tiny trick-or-treaters ages five and under. Make sure to dress in your best Halloween attire, because costumes are encouraged for all ages.
After the race, there will be great prizes awarded and Chick-fil-A breakfast will be provided for participants. A DJ will keep the party going with your favorite tunes. This event is targeting more than 500 runners, so join the fun and come out to run, walk or cheer on your neighbors and enjoy the amazing fall weather and foliage.
Registration for this year’s race, which is presented by Piedmont Henry and many other great sponsors, can be completed online at www.HandsofHopeClinic.org.
