Bullard Realty Organization Adds Joe T. Lane Realty in Recent Merger

Two Jonesboro-based real estate industry leaders, Steve Bullard and Joe T. Lane, have announced the merger of Coldwell Banker Joe T. Lane Realty with the Bullard Realty organization. Lane, who is now an associate broker with Bullard’s Jonesboro/Clayton County office, said, “This is something that Steve and I have talked about doing for two years, and I’m really enthusiastic that this will be a good thing for everyone involved. Bullard is the largest and best real estate organization between I-20 in Atlanta and the Florida line.” Bullard added that his company is “excited about adding Lane and the other realtors from Coldwell Banker Joe T. Lane Realty. Joe has been one of Clayton County’s best known and most active community and real estate industry leaders for many years.”

In addition to Lane, sixteen Realtors previously with Coldwell Banker Joe T. Lane Realty are joining Bullard’s Jonesboro/Clayton County office as a result of the merger. They include Annie Marie Mulkey, Veneschia Rachelle Bryant, Robert Crawford Chappell, Douglas Ray Davis, Ime Asukwo Ekandem, Yolanda F. Flanigan, Rodney Lee Foreman, Sharon Combs Grigg, Lisa Kathleen Jackson, Charles W. Jimison, Terry Eugene Kellam, Adrian L. Owens, Ted Winston Phillips, Arlene Watts, Joan Lee and Luther Maddox. Lane has been a licensed Realtor since 1958 and has worked fulltime in the industry since 1981, when he started Joe T. Lane Realty. He entered a franchise agreement with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation about 15 years ago. Former president of the Metro South Association of Realtors, Lane has been a licensed real estate instructor for more than 20 years, and he is still teaching pre-licensing as well as the post licensing real estate investment course. He holds certifications as a Residential Specialist, Senior Residential Specialist, Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI), and New Homes Specialist. Lane can be contacted by calling 770-477-6400 Ext. 253.

Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty is the oldest and largest real estate company headquartered in the Metro South area of Atlanta and was ranked #194 on RISMedia’s Real Estate 2007 Power Broker Report, which included 500 of the most successful real estate companies from throughout the nation. The company was ranked at No. 13 in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s most recent listing of “Atlanta’s Top 25 Residential Real Estate Companies”, and it is the principal Cendant Mobility broker for the South and East Metro Atlanta areas, having the largest Relocation Department on the Southside. The company worked out a franchise agreement with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation a few years ago and is the largest Coldwell Banker franchise in Georgia. The Bullard organization has its corporate headquarters and a local office in Jonesboro, branch offices of Bullard Realty in McDonough, Peachtree City, Jackson, Griffin, Newnan, and Conyers, and an affiliated company, American Land Mart in Conyers, which has a major share of the luxury home market in the Rockdale County area.
