Bring Out Your Creative Side with Loft-Style Living

Morris and Raper Real Estate ConsultantsThis week, Morris and Raper Real Estate Consultants is excited to highlight our expert in loft-style living, Pat Mistretta.

Pat has found her niche in this market due to the unique living experience that lofts provide. True lofts are located in converted buildings that were once used for something else, and many offer wide open spaces with exposed brick and duct work, high ceilings, cement floors and large windows. She finds that creative individuals are drawn to this style of living, “as it resonates with their need to have a unique and different style home.”

Lofts have become so popular in Atlanta that her LoftsInAtlanta.com website sees approximately 3,500 visitors a month, and she has sold out of all her loft listings through the end of the year. With such high demand, she is excited to bring in new listings for the start of the new year.

Pat is not surprised that she is sold out of loft listings because it reflects the larger buyer trend here in Atlanta. The market is no longer stagnant as more and more buyers are taking advantage of low rates and great prices, and many buyers are eagerly anticipating the start of a strong year in 2013.

Outside of real estate, Pat is an artist and designer. She enjoys painting and creating works of art by repurposing furniture and other items. Plus, this “creative” side helps her to give suggestions for those who have difficulty visualizing the endless possibilities in their new loft-style home.

If you’re thinking that a loft might be the perfect new home option for you, contact Pat at (404) 207-5660.

  1. They’re very popular here in Chicago too. The nice thing is that if you’re into decorating, you essentially have a blank canvas to work from when you live in a loft.

  2. I’ve also had friends that rented a loft style apartment to work (they were both artists) and lived there at the same time. They just have a big open feel.
