Bowen Family Homes Supports Relay for Life
Bowen Family Homes raised over $3,500 for Relay for Life by motivating their employees and the community to donate to the American Cancer Society. The annual Relay event funds cancer research in hopes of finding a cure for the deadly disease. Tip Cape, the owner of Bowen, put jars throughout the office in which employees could add their extra change to everyday. At the end of the fundraiser, whichever person’s jar had the most money got a pie in the face! This created a lot of fun and in-office competition while also educating participants about cancer. Cape also allowed employees to wear jeans to work if they donated to the team. The Gwinnett Relay for Life event was held on May 9 and 10, and would not have been successful without Bowen Family Homes!
