Bowen Family Homes raises money for Relay for Life
Bowen Family Homes’ employees had a great time raising money for a great cause — the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. They called the fund-raiser “Sugarcoat Your Supervisor,” which was an in-office rivalry to see who could raise the most money.
Employees were invited to give money to the supervisor they’d most like to see receive a pie in the face. Particants were Steve Palmer, Mike Moore, Jimmy Dunnett, Corbitt Woods and Steve Norris. At the end of the week, Bowen Family Homes wrote checks to even out all the supervisors’ donations to equal $383 each. So all the supervisors got a pie in the face!
BFH internet coordinator Marie McIlrath challanged her coworders to raise money. She even donated her hair to Locks of Love at the end of the week.
