Be Sure to Attend the Greater Atlanta HBA’s Regional Meeting on February 22

The regional meeting of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association is being held on Wednesday, February 22 at noon at Maggiano’s Perimeter. At the meeting, there will be lunch and a program for builders, associates and the general public.

The main topic of the meeting will be a presentation by Elliot Eisenberg, the senior economist for the National Association of Homebuilders. It is titled “Governments Behaving Badly: the Unintended Consequences of Government Regulations,” and primarily concerns how regulation affects and stifles economic growth and development when used poorly by government institutions. Eisenberg will also give an update on the state of the housing economy, as well as briefly take questions.
