On Oct. 18, the Construction Resources flagship design center in Decatur, Georgia will play host to a group of design students from local universities, including the Savannah College of Art and Design, University of Georgia, Gwinnett Tech and more, in a student tour organized by the Georgia chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. This tour, part of a two-day educational event, will explore our 30,000 square foot design studio and slab gallery. Our facility is one of the largest in the state and represents one of the best places for consumers to explore the many home improvement options available. The tour will be an expanded version of what our customers can experience every day, and will show students both our ever-evolving design studio and the processes we go through to move from design to installation.
We will be the last stop on the tour, which is part of a two-day event aimed at helping senior design students learn about the processes that turn raw materials into the finished products that consumers want. Students will also get to meet professionals in their environment and find employment opportunities in the local area. Students take away a new, better-educated outlook on the bath and kitchen industry and can work on finding internships or jobs. It’s also a great chance for us to find some of the best and brightest design students, too!
We offer tours of our facilities to any interested customers; all you have to do is talk to one of our design studio professionals and they will be happy to arrange a showing of our design space, slab gallery, additional slab yard and fabrication and storage facilities. Stop by our design center at 224 Rio Circle in Decatur for a tour today, or stop by our Buckhead, Gwinnett or Alpharetta facilities to see a full selection of our products in a design and showroom format.
