Heron Bay Awarded 9 OBIES

Every year the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, part of Atlanta Home Builders Association, hosts the highly anticipated OBIE Awards Gala. The awards ceremony honors outstanding builders, remodelers and marketing professionals for their success in  Atlanta real estate. Winning an award is considered one of the highest honors in the Atlanta real estate and building industry.

Atlanta is home to many desirable master-planned communities and Heron Bay Golf & Country Club, located in Henry County, is no exception. This award-winning neighborhood has no problem garnering awards, and received 9 OBIE’s at the 2009 OBIE Awards Gala held on November 7 at the Cobb Galleria.

The awards are broken down into various categories and Heron Bay received awards from two of these categories. In the Special category section Heron Bay received 3 highly coveted Gold OBIES for Land Planning, Landscape Design – Master-planned Community and Amenity Package/ 500+ Units. The community also received 6 awards in the Marketing Category. Gold OBIES were received for Best Community Information & Sales Center/Welcome Center, Best Advertising – Off-Site Signage, and Best E-Marketing – Website – Community. Silver OBIES were awarded for Best Advertising – On-Site Signage, Best E-Marketing – Social Media Campaign and Best Marketing Campaign/Promotion – Developer.

That is a great deal of awards for one community to earn and brings Heron Bay’s total to an exceptional 15 awards since the community opened in 2004. Of course there are a lot of things that go into making a great community such as this one. It couldn’t have been done without all of those who have contributed to the community in some way.
