Carol Flammer Quoted in the AJC
Did everyone see the feature in the Homefinder section of the AJC on May 4 about the “Terms of Frustration.” If not you should definitely check it out. Not only does it clear up a lot of misconceptions as to what a “gourmet kitchen” or “spa bath” is, but it also used Carol Flammer’s expertise in the industry to help define these fequently used marketing terms. Carol Flammer is the President and Founder of Flammer Relations, Inc. - a public relations and social media firm that specializes in real estate. She is also the creator of Atlanta’s favorite real estate blog. With decades of experience in the home building industry, it is no wonder that AJC reporter Lori Johnston asked Flammer for her opinion on this feature story. Flammer’s involvement with Atlanta real estate has given her great insight as to the misconception between builders and buyers with phrases like “oversized master suites” and “gourmet kitchens.” Apparently buyers have been disappointed with products that are described with such broad terms. So, if these phrases have been a source of frustration and confusion for you, (Continued…)

Or, for the large and growing families, how about a backyard football or soccer game? In today’s market of new communities, it is almost impossible to find beautiful new homes with any size yard, so this fact already makes these new homes stand out in a fantastic way. Of course the benefits of Lenore Place are not only the abundance of outdoor living space. The five homes in this new community feature (Continued…)

Atlanta Real Estate Forum Wins Gold Hermes Award!
A huge congratulations is in order for Atlanta’s favorite real estate blog as it is officially a recipient of a Gold 2008 Hermes Creative Award. This is a prestigious honor as the Hermes Creative Awards are an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. What’s unique about the Hermes Awards is that there can be more than one Gold winner in a category or there can be no winners at all - the judges evaluate every entry individually and do not compare them to each other. This makes winning an award even more difficult because there does not necessarily have to be a winner in every category. If the entry does not dramatically exceed the high standard of excellence expected by the judges, it will not win an award nor receive honorable mention. The judges are chosen by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and are given categories based on their industry expertise. This year, over 4,000 entries from the United States and several other countries were judged in the competition, and only 18% (Continued…)
