Atlanta’s 2009 Christmas House to Open Soon

header-atlanta_r1_c1With Christmas approaching quickly it’s time to think about making a trip to Atlanta’s Christmas House. Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Magazine has designed the 2009 Christmas House as a way to welcome in the festivities of the holidays and is well on its way to be the top designer home in the Atlanta area. The 2009 Christmas House will be open to the public from November 14 through December 6. With a showcase of beautiful rooms all designed and decorated with the holidays in mind, this is one experience you will want to share with the entire family. Tours will take place Wednesday through Sunday. For complete details, pictures and prices take a look at the website.

Proceeds from the Christmas House will go to benefit the Children’s Alliance Theatre, currently celebrating their 41st anniversary this year. A product showcase will be featured at the Christmas House with over 30 vendors, and it is one of the major highlights of this season’s event.  There is a host of other activities to take part in throughout the season as well. For example, this year will be the first ever tabletop extravaganza, featuring six of Atlanta’s most stylish shops and decorators who have designed elegant table displays dressed for the holidays. The Christmas House also offers a Holiday Tea, overnight packages and lots more.

The 2009 Christmas House is located on 1795 West Wesley Road and was designed by William T. Baker and built by Southwick Real Estate LLC. Individual rooms will be decorated by the area’s top designers and will follow a holiday theme to capture the essence of the season.  If you’re interested in being a part of the Christmas house you can become a sponsor or volunteer your time to help staff the event. 1. A truly beautiful home, inside and out! It is running for about a week longer; It is a must-see if you haven’t toured it yet.
