Atlanta SMC Donates $20,000 to Charity

SMC Check Presentation with BoardAt its 2007 holiday luncheon, the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) donated $20,000 to four different charities. The funds, raised through the silent auction held in the fall, were distributed equally in $5,000 checks to Georgia Canines for Independence, CURE Childhood Cancer, Georgia National Guard Foundation and HomeAid Atlanta.SMC Check Presentation

Ginny Bishop of Sharp Residential and Sandy Andrew of Atlanta New Homes Directory.com chairs of the SMC Events committee comment, “A special thank you to everyone who attended the Silent Auction in October, as well as those who donated money or auction items. The auction was a big success thanks to everyone’s collective efforts.”

Established in 1981, SMC is a 400+ member council comprised of sales and marketing professionals in the homebuilding industry. The SMC is currently the largest and most viable council in the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA). The SMC is committed to education, programs, membership, awards and charity.
