NAMAR Collecting Stuffed Animals for Sheltering Arms

The time is here for the Northeastern Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors to seek out local Atlanta real estate agents and community members  to lend a helping hand by donating new or gently loved stuffed animals for Sheltering Arms. NAMAR has been supporting Sheltering Arms Day Care Centers and the children of Gwinnett County for more than 20 years now and greatly appreciates donations from anyone.

Last year, a record number of stuffed animals were donated and this year they hope to do the same! Each year the children at Sheltering Arms look forward to a visit from Santa and the chance to pick out a stuffed animal. For some children, this may be the only gift they receive this year and will be the highlight of the season for them. There are three Sheltering Arms Centers in the county so there is a need for lots of stuffed animals. The stuffed animal drive will run through December 4 and donations can be dropped off at the NAMAR offices located on Duluth Highway or a pick up can be scheduled.

This is an easy, inexpensive way to spread some holiday cheer throughout the community. If you aren’t able to donate a stuffed animal, monetary donations are welcome as well. Help spread the word and support the children of Gwinnett County!
