Alex Reethof is a ChefTainer with the TV series Back to the Table. Alex has been a chef for many years, and more recently he coined the term ChefTainer to represent the fact that he uses culinary arts as a form of entertainment.

One of the most popular trends in kitchens these days is that instead of just having one triangular work area, many homeowners are creating two in order to have a bigger, more spread out kitchen. Families need this extra space as cooking and spending in time together in the kitchen is becoming more popular; this sense of camaraderie established in the kitchen is also the premise behind Alex’s show Back to the Table, which emphasizes the kitchen as a family gathering space.
