Atlanta Housing Industry Groups to Host Rally and Press Conference

At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27th, 2008, various Atlanta housing industry groups, including the Atlanta Board of Realtors and the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association will host a press conference and rally at the State Capitol to celebrate and analyze the landmark housing bill passed last month and the potential positive impact it will have on metro Atlanta, the state and nation. U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson and Mercer University Economics Professor Roger Tutterow, PhD will be the two key speakers on hand to provide brief remarks.

Scott Simpson – President, Atlanta Board of Realtors

What: Press conference and rally to be held at the State Capitol concerning the comprehensive housing legislation signed into law by President Bush last month. The HBA, ABR and Sen. Isakson were all strong proponents of the package.
