Atlanta HBA Hosts Tech Education Sessions
Just this past week, the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association hosted a pair of events aimed at improving business through utilization of new online tools. Both of these events were led by Zach Schabot of go realty.
The evening session, titled “20 Apps in 20 Minutes,” gave the SMC members of the Atlanta HBA a chance to mix and mingle as well as to learn about 20 of the most interesting apps for homebuilders and real estate agents on the market. Apps ranged from photography modification apps like 360 Panorama which allows easy panoramic pictures for capturing whole rooms or neighborhoods to Houzz, which provides a stable of pictures ready to launch ideas for designers and buyers of pre-sales and custom homes. The class also touched on the best apps to use to connect to the hottest social networks.
The following morning session, a three hour continuing education credit course, was titled “Capture, Cultivate and Communicate.” This session addressed the distances between marketing to different generations, including an expanded selection of applications for different buyer behaviors, how to create action plans for utilizing new technology to reach buyers and how to follow up and maintain relationships. The class also fostered networking through a team event and discussion. Everyone left with a springboard set of blog ideas and a sample action plan for improving their social presence on websites and social media services.
