Atlanta Real Estate Forum Contributers Recognized

On December 25, 2009, The Atlanta Business Chronicle released the 25th edition of The Book of Lists. This book contains 124 lists that rank metro-Atlanta companies based on a wide variety of criteria to determine the top companies for each list. Lists range from “Top Atlanta Homebuilders”  to “The Fastest-Growing Women Owned Firms” Whether you’re a homebuyer, job seeker, potential employer, or just someone with a keen interest in Atlanta Business’ there’s sure to be a list that appeals.

Several of AtlantaRealEstateForum.com’s top contributors can be found in the 2009 Book of Lists and we’d like to recognize them for all their hard work over the past year.

Coldwell Banker was ranked No. 9 on the “Top 10 Residential Real Estate Organizations” list. In addition, the real estate brokerage firm was also ranked No. 1 on the “Top 25 Residential Real Estate Companies” list. Also on the list: Remax of Atlanta, who ranked No. 10.

Columbia Properties ranked No. 10 on list for “Atlanta’s Top Commercial Developers (retail)”. Also on the list: Regent Partners, who ranked No. 8 on the office list for the Buckhead landmark, Sovereign.

Pulte Homes Corporation ranked No. 1 list of “Atlanta’s Top 15 Homebuilders” Also on the list were:

• D.R. Horton, No. 2
• McCar Homes Inc.,  No. 3
• Bowen Family Homes, No. 4
• John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods Inc., No. 6
• Lane Co., No. 8
• Ashton Woods Atlanta Residential LLC, No. 10
• Sharp Residential LLC, No. 11
• Traton Homes LLC who tied for No. 14 with Patrick Malloy Communities LLC.

The list of “Top 100 Private Companies in Atlanta” also featured several AtlantaRealEstateForum.com contributors. McCar Homes Inc. was ranked No. 36, Lane Co. also made the top 100  at No. 51 and Bowen Family Homes rounded out the AtlantaRealEstateForum.com contributors, ranking No. 52.

In addition to the above, Lane Co. also was ranked No. 5 on the “Top 10 Owners of Atlanta Real Estate” on the apartments list.

In addition to their first place on the homebuilder’s list, Pulte Homes Corp., was also ranked No. 16 on the “Top 25 Residential Real Estate Companies” list.

Rounding out the AtlantaRealEstateForum.com contributors, was Park Springs Communities. The continuing care retirement community ranked No. 3 in the list of “Top 25 Retirement Communities.”
