Atlanta Active Adult Home Builder Surpasses Milestone

With so much dismal news regarding Atlanta home builders filling the business pages of local publications, it is so refreshing when we hear positive news about our home building industry. So, we are extremely happy to report that the award-winning home builder Windsong Properties recently celebrated five outstanding years in business. Congratulations on hitting the five-year mark Windsong!

They commemorated the joyous occasion with an invitation-only anniversary luncheon at which attendees brought toys to donate to the Atlanta Toys for Tots holiday campaign. The event was held at the gorgeous clubhouse in their Somerset community in Woodstock, and attended by approximately 100 trade partners and business associates. Attendees enjoyed a barbeque lunch, dessert and giveaways while Steve Romeyn, Managing Partner of Windsong Properties delivered personal remarks.

Active adult homebuyers in Atlanta have really taken to Windsong’s communities and the exceptional home that they build. In fact, their 190th homebuyer just moved into their unique low maintenance, EasyLiving home. With the successes Windsong has experienced in the past five years, you wouldn’t think that the real estate market is even suffering – 32 homes were sold last year. Their continued success throughout the past five years speaks volumes about their product, and the fact that they want to use their success to make the holidays magical for children in need speaks volumes about the people behind the product.

Seventy toys were donated to Atlanta Toys for Tots by attendees. Atlanta Toys for Tots fulfills the Christmas dreams of Atlanta’s neediest children through toy collections and donation. Accepting the toys were a contingent of Marines in full dress blues.
