Ashton Woods Homes is honored to announce its partnership with Cecconi Simone Inc., a Toronto-based, full-service, interior design practice. The Atlanta new home builder called in the award-winning firm to design its newest model homes at Savoy at Town Brookhaven.
“We wanted our model homes to stand out, to be something new for the Atlanta buyer,” explained Michael Malloy, vice president of sales and marketing at Ashton Woods Homes. “The designers at Cecconi Simone are truly experts in their field. It was exciting to work with industry leaders and to gain more insight into the design world.”
Established in 1982, Cecconi Simone is privately owned and operated by Elaine Cecconi and Anna Simone. The firm has designed hotels, restaurants, multi-unit condominium communities, single-family homes and more at various price points in ten countries worldwide. Cecconi Simone has been featured in leading, international design publications, such as Frame Magazine, Metropolitan Home, Luxury Home Quarterly, House & Home and Azure to name just a few.
Through three decades of design excellence, Cecconi Simone has received over 150 awards from around the globe, including, most recently, honors from the Association for Retail Environments (USA), Building Industry & Land Development (Canada), Ontario Home Builders Association (Canada), Canadian Interiors, A’ Design (Italy) and International Property (UK).
Cecconi Simone’s success is based on the firm’s design philosophy, which maintains that thoughtful design should help individuals live their lives better. The firm applied this thinking to Savoy at Town Brookhaven, working in partnership with the builder and its architects through every stage of planning and design, a rarity in the residential sector.
“By retaining a team of internationally-renowned consultants for Savoy and encouraging them to continually fine-tune their designs, Ashton Woods Homes has raised the bar on livability,” said Simone. “I know that their homebuyers will appreciate this passion for design.”
The collaboration between Ashton Woods Homes and Cecconi Simone has resulted in truly unique designs, with the model homes at Savoy at Town Brookhaven achieving synergy between the exteriors and interiors.
“The homes have a peaceful feel and incredible light,” continued Simone. “There is a wonderful flow of movement as you experience the various spaces. Sightlines have been thought out very carefully so that, at every corner, something enticing carries you forward.”
One model home will have an eclectic feel, mixing a white and walnut color palette with linens, cottons, reclaimed wood and industrial accents. The other will have a traditional feel with rich colors and fabrics, like satins and velvets.
“My favorite part of these designs is their differences,” stated Simone. “Each one resonates differently, appealing to a diversity of design-savvy purchasers of all ages. I believe that buying a home is all about what you feel. If either one of these designs gives out a spark or makes a buyer feel connected, then we have been successful.”
Priced from the $400,000s, Savoy at Town Brookhaven will open soon. To celebrate, Ashton Woods Homes is hosting a VIP night on Thursday, August 22 with a special presentation by Simone.
