Residents of Henry County’s best master-planned community, Heron Bay Golf and Country Club, love the annual Henry County Kiwanis Fair. The fair, which ushers in the fall season for local residents, began Tuesday, October 1 and will last until this Saturday, October 5.
This year’s fair continues the tradition of having family-friendly activities and events for visitors of all ages. There will be wonderful food and carnival rides, including live entertainment, kiddie rides, 4-H exhibits and a petting zoo. In addition, local residents enjoy attending the competitions, exhibitions, livestock shows and auctions that celebrate the area’s agricultural history.
Held at Wendy Hill Park in McDonough, the fair will be open through Thursday from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. On Friday night, the fair will be open from 6 p.m. until closing and Saturday hours are 1 p.m. until closing.
Children five and under are free every night, and the fair offers a special family plan that allows two adults and two children ages six through 18 to enter for $15. Normal entrance prices are $6 for adults and $4 for children ages six to 18. Attendees can also purchase arm bands that allow unlimited rides for $20 each.
With so many events happening year-round, you can make sure you never miss out by living just down the street in one of the new Henry County homes in Heron Bay.
