An Effective Social Media Strategy in Only Four Steps

Social Media. These could very well be two of the most popular words in the English language these days. The phrase is thrown around a lot, especially in regards to marketing. And, if you don’t entirely understand what these two words mean, then you’ve got a pretty big problem, especially being a professional in the Atlanta real estate industry.

There are a couple of reasons that this is a big problem:

  1. Most of your competition understands and uses social media for a competitive advantage, meaning you are way behind. Your competition realized months ago, maybe even years ago, that home shoppers look for their new homes online and have actively been targeting these shoppers. If you haven’t already begun a social media marketing strategy, now is definitely the time to do it. You can no longer hesitate. Get started today!
  2. Social media is a powerful tool for home builders and real estate agents. The builders that have already become social media savvy have seen tremendous results because of it – increase in online traffic, increase in on-site traffic and an increase in sales.

Now, what exactly do you need to do to begin an effective social media strategy? Well, Professional Builder recently published a great article called 4 Steps to an Effective Social Media Strategy for Home Builders. This article should serve as a resource for anyone just starting out. The publication interviewed Mitch Levinson, managing partner of mRELEVANCE, and Mike Rieman, Senior Account Manager at Flammer Relations, for their professional opinions and advice. They even used the ever-successful Bowen Family Homes case study as a concrete example of what to do.

There’s nothing stopping you now! Get involved and start your social media strategy. Click here for more information on Social Media for Home Builders.
