Agents Luncheon Marks Grand Opening for Townhomes in Johns Creek Walk
A well attended Realtors luncheon marked the official Grand Opening for The Residences of Johns Creek Walk, a new enclave of 44 townhomes in the Johns Creek Walk mixed-use neighborhood in the City of Johns Creek. The crowd of over 125 people included approximately 75 real estate agents, as well as special guest artist Eric Strauss, his wife Charlotte, and their children Logan and Katie Lynn; Johns Creek Council Members Karen Richardson and Ivan Figueroa; Patty Hanson, chief of staff for the municipality’s mayor, Mike Bodker; Linda Westcott Johnson, chairperson for the Johns Creek Beautification Committee; Dyanne L. Carpenter, executive director of the Ocee Arts Center; representatives of the Johns Creek Herald and CountyLine Magazine; and other invited guests.
The event, which took place in one of the two new decorated townhome models in The Residences of Johns Creek Walk, featured a gourmet luncheon of sliced beef of baron, iced shrimp with lemon, hot smoked crab dip, chicken satays, marinated vegetable and pasta salads, fresh fruit with pastries and desserts catered by Chefs On The Run. Tours were conducted of the two decorated model homes, The Craftsman, a four-bedroom, three and one-half bath design with the master suite downstaira and a two-car garage; and The Artisan, a three-bedroom, three and one-half bath plan with a bonus room and two-car garage. Also included on the tours were the Johns Creek Walk amenities, including a swimming pool, 24/7 Wi-Fi Café, fitness center, outdoor kitchen/ cabana, and clubhouse. Prior to the luncheon, a dedication ceremony for two stainless steel horse sculptures, known as “Sun” and Angel” in Millwork Park, one of Johns Creek Walk’s picturesque pocket parks. The sculptures are the work of Strauss, a well known North Georgia artist.
The Arts & Crafts styled townhomes in The Residences of Johns Creek Walk are available in three and four-bedroom plans with prices starting at $299,900 and represent an affordable opportunity to live in the neighborhood. A bonus of up to $25,000 in “Buyer Bonus Bucks” is being offeed through the Grand Opening promotion. The municipality of Johns Creek is one of the metro Atlanta newest cities, while Johns Creek Walk, located at the intersection of Medlock Bridge and Bell Road, is North Fulton County’s first true live, work and play neighborhood, presenting a unique blend of sophisticated manor homes, Arts and Crafts-inspired townhomes, luxury rentals and specialty retail. The 26-acre community will have a mix of housing choices, including the townhomes as well as custom-built single-family manor homes and luxury apartments with condominium-grade finishes.
