Active Adults Have More Fun While Staying Safe at Brookhaven at Johns Creek

Johns Creek active adult communityJust because you’re over 55, that doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun. Many active adults are still out on the roads visiting friends and family during the day or going to work, and then choosing to settle down at night in communities of like minded individuals. If you’re still driving on a regular basis, it’s important  to go through  defensive driver training, so that you can not only learn how to stay alert on the road and prevent accidents, but to also earn special discounts on your car insurance.

AARP is sponsoring a defensive driving class, which is open to all age groups, on Saturday, February 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Northeast Spruill Oaks Library in Johns Creek. The cost is $14 per person, but AARP members can receive a $2 discount if they bring their membership card. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 770-360-8820.

After you brush up on your driving skills, head on over to Brookhaven at Johns Creek from Jim Chapman Communities. We offer a wide variety of single family homes and ranch villa condominiums priced from the $300,000s and designed for the active adult lifestyle. Community amenities such as our deluxe clubhouse with heated pool, cards room, pool table room, big screen TV, two kitchens and fitness center; community garden; sports courts; lighted tennis courts and walking trails also help facilitate an active, social lifestyle.
