13th Annual Showcase Home Tour Kicks Off this Weekend

It’s that time of the year again when the Roswell Woman’s Club showcases an extraordinary home to help raise money for local charitable organizations. This year, they have outdone themselves as the 13th Annual Showcase Home Tour features The Homestead. This exceptional home rests on 30 acres of rolling hills and pastures in North Fulton County. Situated on this beautiful land is a new home with a storied past, a 100-year-old caretaker’s cottage and a stable – all of which have been renovated and beautifully decorated with a myriad of design ideas. In fact, the estate represents the hard work of over 25 of Atlanta’s finest designers that have worked together to make this year’s Showcase Home something to remember. All funds raised from the Showcase home go directly back into North Fulton County with half as scholarships to support education in the area and the other half goes to support many non-profits in the area including, Roswell Cultural Arts Center, Chattahoochee Nature Center and many more.

The Showcase home is open for tours between March 8 and March 29, 2009. Be sure to visit the Web site for hours and a calendar of the special daily events. Tickets are on sale now and range from $20 to $30 depending on which day you go, if you want unlimited admission or if you are a Roswell Woman’s Club member. Last year’s home tour at Ivey Mills raised over $200,000 for the local community, and it’s up to us to surpass last year’s numbers. Make time during March to take a tour of this unforgettable estate and support the North Fulton County community.
